There are several Financial Aid Programs that are available to students in the Star Valley Outreach area. A description of each follows. NOTE: Most financial aid applications take time for approvals. It is, therefore, recommended that you apply early.

Free Aapplication for Free Student Aid: You may apply for Federal student aid on the FAFSA website.

Federal PELL Grant: Grant money is based on income. Application is made to and eligibility is determined by the PELL program. Generally, you must be enrolled in at least six credit hours (usually two classes).

Federal Stafford Loan: Need-based federally subsidized loan to college students which are made by participating lending institutions. Repayment begins six months after you complete your education.

Vietnam Veterans Scholarship: Provides in-state tuition costs for up to ten semesters to Wyoming residents who have a Vietnam Service Medal.

Senior Citizen Tuition Waiver: If you are over 60 and a resident of Lincoln County, you can receive a 50% discount on the tuition of any class - credit or non-credit. In order to receive the price, a waiver must be signed each semester.
