     This dermatitis in horses, usually affects the white or stocking feet.  Symptoms include scabby pasterns and heels,  with areas that are cracked and swollen.  Lameness is often present.  Horses with white faces or muzzles may also have "Scratches" (facial dermatitis) with sore, scabby, cracked areas on the nose and around the mouth.  Many causes have been associated with "Scratches",  including:  microorganisms, allergies, photosensitivity, nutrition, irritants, soil or bedding.  "Scratches" tends to persist and to reoccur frequently, especially in a horse with white feet and face.

    SCRATCHES FORMULA©  is gentle, non-irritating and works quickly.  It is also very effective and inexpensive.   No scab picking or scraping, no scrubbing or soaking, no packing or wrapping; simply  spray or daub the medication onto the affected areas of the feet or face.  Since SCRATCHES FORMULA  is gentle, no handling of the horse's painful,  tender feet or legs is necessary.
